You have probably heard or even said a lot of the classic sayings below at one time or another in your life. Most sound like bad poetry but was probably created in that manner so it would be easy to remember while giving you profound truth in as few words as possible.

Just look at the sayings and marvel at the advice that they give you in so many different areas of your life. These phrases have been passed down through generations just like so many things in life. Most are straight forward, and the meaning easily understood, but on the other hand some you might scratch your head and have to ponder on its meaning for a while. You might not always agree with someone as what the saying means and that is ok because “it’s ok to agree to disagree”.

Early to bed, early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise.

When you smile the whole world smiles with you.

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Money can’t buy you happiness.

Practice makes perfect.
